In Indian River Towers (IRT) West, room 588, alumnus Chris Mack gets cozy in his dorm room during the first week of school.

After already eating breakfast and dinner in the Centre Marketplace cafeteria without signing up for a meal plan, Mack settles back in to college life without shelling out a dime.

Despite Cutbacks, SG Gets A Revamp

While FAU was forced to cut nearly $19 million from its budget over the past year, Student Government is starting off the semester with new carpeting, furniture and a paint job.

Last semester, the Boca Raton House of Representatives voted on a bill - titled the "Student Government Facelift" - that let them use $74,800 of student money on the makeover, which was finished up last week.

Exploration Week Ends with Sharkapalooza

Old and new members of the NSU community gathered in the University Center on Aug. 29 for the third annual "Sharkapalooza."

This event is a combination of two NSU traditions, "Got Wood?" and "NSU Exploration Week." "NSU Exploration Week" took place during the first week of school.
